Patrol says two injured in one-vehicle wreck


MOUND CITY, Mo. -Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident that occurred one mile south of Mound City. The crash occurred on Northbound I-29 on Monday at 12:01 a.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that 17-year-old Devon Lange was driving a 2001 Honda Civic that traveled off the side of the road, overcorrected, skid out of control, overturned, and struck a fence.

A passenger, 21-year-old Tamela Rexilius sustained serious injuries while Lange received moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
